A little help.

Ritu is a free iOS app for seasonal Ayurvedic lifestyle habits. It does not diagnose or treat. Questions about the app or this site go to Ritu (namaste@ritu.day).

Can I use cups instead of grams?

Yes. Choose US or metric in your preferences, or change measurements while viewing a recipe. The app remembers your choice.

Can I cook for one?

Choose 1, 2 or 4 servings. Ingredient quantities and cooking liquids adjust together. Cooking times stay the same; check texture and package instructions as you cook.

Where are my saved recipes?

Open Meal ideas in Food and choose Saved. You can also filter for breakfast, main meals or recipes taking 20 minutes or less.

How does the shopping list work?

Add ingredients from a recipe, then open Shopping list. Check off what you already have. Your list stays on your device between visits.

What if a suggestion doesn’t suit me?

Choose a shorter or quieter practice, or give optional feedback after finishing. Food preferences help narrow your suggestions. Always review a recipe’s ingredients and allergen notes yourself.

Do I have to learn the Ayurvedic terms?

No. Explanations are optional and closed until you open them. Start with the everyday instructions and explore the background whenever you feel curious.
